Happy Memories

Today is a happy memory day! We started off our day with waffles, sausage and eggs. (Is there anything better than a Saturday morning breakfast in your jammies?) Cole is nearby sewing. Barry is out back with the little ones flying a kite. We have a chicken roasting in the oven for dinner. These are the times I want to remember. I want the children to think of life at home and have wonderful memories of our times together. Doing simple things like making dinner, working in the yard or flying a kite! My most wonderful memories aren't from "events", but from everyday life. I want them to smell a lilac and think of our corner yard where they cut blooms to bring me when they were little. I want them to smell roast chicken and think of standing by me on a stool while we made dinner together. Life is good and today is a memory day!

Shawna
