Love Is In The Air

I received this e-mail from Chuck and Denise today. As most of you know, Chuck is Barry's cousin.

"We wanted to share our good news with family and friends.

As most of you know by now Haley (Chuck's daughter) and Zack are now engaged. Zack flew in from Sacramento last weekend to Houston and drove up to College Station. Her friends took her on a "birthday scavenger hunt" that ended at the Century Tree and Zack... the traditional place to propose on the A&M campus. Since Haley now bleeds A&M maroon that was the perfect place.

They are not getting married until summer of '08. The deal is they both have to have their bachelor's degrees first and both are hoping to graduate May '08."

We were all really excited about the news. Zack is a great guy and we love him like he is one of our own already. He has even been duck hunting with the guys. He has attended our annual Christmas party and Fourth of July Extravaganza. All that is left is marriage!!

As you can imagine, he has wooed all the ladies in the family with that proposal. How romantic! Spring and such a creative proposal leaves me feeling a little twitterpated too.
